When trying to define an IIOP service policy, you're unable to select an item from the EJB Methods drop-down box.

**************************************************************** * USERS AFFECTED: All users of IBM WebSphere Application * * Server * **************************************************************** * PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: During the creation of an IIOP service * * policy, the drop-down box for * * selection of EJB methods is empty. * **************************************************************** * RECOMMENDATION: * **************************************************************** A ClassCastException is thrown while attempting to fill the EJB method selection box, hence it remains unpopulated. The exception was caused due to incorrect class imports in the code.
Problem conclusion
The class imports have been corrected in the code and the EJB method drop-down is now properly populated. The fix for this APAR is currently targeted for inclusion in fix pack 8.5.5.4.
