Error description

When OLA is initializing, the following exception occurs due
to an inconsistency in the JNI:
java.lang.NoSuchMethodError:
com/ibm/ws390/ola/OptimizedLocalAdapterMBean.displayCommand(Ljav
a/lang/String;)V

OLA display commands are unavailable after this exception
occurs.

WOLA display commands are unavailable after the following
exception occurs in the server's control region during JNI
initialization:

java.lang.NoSuchMethodError:
com/ibm/ws390/ola/OptimizedLocalAdapterMBean.displayCommand(Ljav
a/lang/String;)V

Any commands starting with "F <server>,DISPLAY,ADAPTER" will
return no output.

Problem conclusion

Code has been modified to eliminate the JNI exception and
restore the function of the display commands.

APAR PI23817 is currently targeted for inclusion in Fix Packs
7.0.0.35 and 8.0.0.10 of WebSphere Application Server for z/OS.
