Error description
If you add IBM HTTP Server to Microsoft Windows Service during install of IBM HTTP Server via Installation Manager, the password is not passed to Windows Service correctly even if you confirmed the correct password with the "Verified password" button. This causes a startup failure of IBM HTTP Server via Windows Service. You will see the error - "Logon failure: Unable to recognize username or incorrect password"
Local fix
- Update the Windows service registration with "apache -k install" command - Register IHS to Windows Service as a LocalSystem Account

Problem conclusion
