Problem summary
**************************************************************** * USERS AFFECTED: All users of IBM WebSphere Application * * Server * **************************************************************** * PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: IN THE ADMINISTRATIVE CONSOLE, THE * * HOVER * * TEXT FOR THE TRANSPORT MEMORY SIZE * * COREGROUP PROPERTY IS MISLEADING. * **************************************************************** * RECOMMENDATION: * **************************************************************** The Transport Memory Size property hover description states that the property value cannot be larger than the max value for a JVM This should be the max value for ANY GIVEN JVM in the coregroup.
Problem conclusion
The hover text displayed for the Transport Memory Size has been corrected and now reads: "The maximum size of dynamically allocated memory, in megabytes, that the transport can hold. The range is from 10 to 2147483647 megabytes, however, this value cannot be larger than the maximum heap size specified for any given Java virtual machine in the coregroup. When this limit is reached, congestion control is invoked."
