APAR status
Closed as program error.
Error description
The value for server_region_request_cputimeused_limit is specified in milliseconds, but these messages are reporting the time in microseconds. This APAR will change the behavior so that the messages report the time in milliseconds so the unit of measure is consistent.
Local fix
Ignore the value or convert the microsecond value to milliseconds
Problem summary
**************************************************************** * USERS AFFECTED: All users of IBM WebSphere Application * * Server V8.0 and V8.5 * **************************************************************** * PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: WebSphere Application server for z/OS * * messages BBOJ0123I, BBOJ0124I, and * * BBOJ0125I contain misleading data. * **************************************************************** * RECOMMENDATION: * **************************************************************** Messages BBOJ0123I, BBOJ0124I, and BBOJ0125I contain information about the request. The CPU Time Used Limit setting for the related request is formatted in microseconds. The configured values are specified in milliseconds. This may lead to question if the server is using the proper value.
Problem conclusion
Code has been modified to format the CPU Time Used Limit in milliseconds for messages BBOJ0123I, BBOJ0124I, and BBOJ0125I. APAR PI25047 is currently targeted for inclusion in Fix Packs 8.0.0.10 and *.5.5.4 of WebSphere Application Server.
