Invoking remove operation on a nilled element from a list has no
effect. It remains on the tree and leads to data corruption.

Problem conclusion

The algorithm dealing with removing elements from a list was
updated to handle nilled elements correctly.

The fix for this APAR is currently targeted for inclusion in
fix packs 8.0.0.10 and 8.5.5.4.  Please refer to the
