APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• The com.ibm.wsspi.resource package is intended to be SPI.  The
  classes exist in the
  dev/spi/ibm/com.ibm.websphere.appserver.spi.containerServices
  jar, but the javadoc does not exist in the
  dev/spi/ibm/javadoc/com.ibm.websphere.appserver.spi.containerSer
  vices zip.
  

Local fix

Problem summary

  The build process for the com.ibm.wsspi.resource package is
  different from other packages, and the source was not included
  while generating javadoc for the package.
  

Problem conclusion

• The build process for the
  com.ibm.websphere.appserver.spi.containerServices javadoc has
  been corrected to include the com.ibm.wsspi.resource
  package.
  
  The fix for this APAR is currently targeted for
  inclusion in fix pack 8.5.5.4.  Please refer to the Recommended
  Updates page for delivery information:
