• Running the ws-productutil.jar version command on z/OS results

  Running the command "java -jar ws-productutil.jar version" on
  z/OS results in the following error:
  
  "The required property key
  com.ibm.websphere.productEdition is missing in file
  /wlp/lib/versions/WebSphereApplicationServerZOS.properties."
  
  Th
  is is caused by a missing key in the z/OS properties file.
  

Problem conclusion

• The key for com.ibm.websphere.productEdition was added to
  WebSphereApplicationServerZOS.properties.
  
  The fix for this APAR
  is currently targeted for inclusion in fix pack 8.5.5.4.  Please
  refer to the Recommended Updates page for delivery information:

Temporary fix

• No functional problem arises from the error message. It can be
