**************************************************************** * USERS AFFECTED: All users of IBM WebSphere Application * * Server Liberty Profile on z/OS using the * * z/OS Connect feature. * **************************************************************** * PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: A HTTP request matching a configured * * invokeURI entry ending with a wildcard * * character returns with a 404 status * * code * **************************************************************** * RECOMMENDATION: * **************************************************************** An attempt to invoke a z/OS asset through z/OS Connect fails with a HTTP 404 status code. The request URI used for the request matched a service configured requestURI ending with a wildcard character; however, z/OS Connect failed to match the request to the configured invokeURI attribute.
Problem conclusion
Code was added to correctly process a HTTP request to a matching invokeURI entry ending with a wildcard character in the form /a/b/* or /x/y/* The fix for this APAR is currently targeted for inclusion in fix pack 8.5.5.5.
