Under some circumstances the WebSphere Application Server

a prefix with the namespace that should be referred in the
prefix might be missing in a child element.

Problem conclusion

  • The JAXB Marshalling code generator for Serialization stubs
fails to add a check for unprefixed names which are bound to
the default namespace. If another JAXBContext is created which
has different prefix/namespace assignments this stub class
will erroneously report that it is compatible with this
JAXBContext and be used instead of generating a new stub class
which has the correct prefix/namespace assignments.

The issue was fixed by ensuring that such a check is included
    in the code generation process.

The fix for this APAR is currently targeted for inclusion in
fix pack 8.5.5.5. Please refer to the Recommended Updates
