APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• In console Navigated to Clusters -> Dynamic Clusters ->
  <cluster name>.  Clicked on the Operations tab and the
  java.lang.StringIndexOutOfBoundsException error was logged in
  the SystemErr.log.
  

Local fix

• Added condition to check for variable it should not be null and
  indexed properly

  In the administrative console navigate to:
  Clusters -> Dynamic Clusters -> <cluster name>.
  Click on the Operations tab and a
  java.lang.StringIndexOutOfBoundsException is logged in the
  SystemErr.log.
  

Problem conclusion

• Fixed the issue by adding a condition to ensure
  indexOutOfBounds can not happen.
  
  The fix for this APAR is currently targeted for inclusion in
  fix pack 8.5.5.5.  Please refer to the Recommended Updates
