• JAXBContext creation failed during marshaling process of JAX-
  web service client with exception:
  javax.xml.ws.WebServiceException:
  java.lang.NullPointerException

  The Web Service engine uses an incorrect algorithm when
  choosing a class loader for JAXBContext creation when the
  context class loader and web service class's class loader are
  different.
  

Problem conclusion

• The Web Service engine algorithm has been corrected.
  
  The fix for this APAR is currently targeted for inclusion in
  fix pack 8.5.5.5.  Please refer to the Recommended Updates
