  Power8 Little Endian platform, Installation Manager shows the
  following warning: A supported operating system was not
  detected. Support for your operating system might have been
  added after the release of the product.

  Power8 Little Endian platform, Installation Manager shows the

Problem conclusion

• When installing Web 2.0 and Mobile Toolkit 1.1.0.6 offering on
  Power8 Little Endian platform, Installation Manager now
  installs the offering as intended, and the warning is not
  displayed anymore.
  
  The fix for this APAR is currently targeted for inclusion in
  fix pack 8.5.5.5.  Please refer to the Recommended Updates
