Error description

  • When processing an application, either for later stages of
    deployment processing, or following deployment, steps to obtain
    EJB-IN-WAR content perform unnecessary annotation scans due to
    incomplete checking of metadata cached during the deployment.

    During plugin generation, the plugin makes request to helper
    applications for content that can lead to unnecessary
    annotation scanning.
    

Problem conclusion

  • Plugin generation has been updated to pass additional
    information to it's helper application so it will know if
    annotation scanning is needed.
    
    The fix for this APAR is currently targeted for inclusion in
    fix packs 8.0.0.11 & 8.5.5.6. Please refer to the Recommended
