    Java 2 security is more restrictive than the global security
    mechanism that is enabled by default. The EventService is an
    internal WebSphere application related Common Event
    Infrastructure (CEI) component. With Java 2 Security enabled,
    the EventService application should be granted the
    "AdminPermission". The EventService has a WAS.policy file which
    can be modified to provide any additional permissions.
    

Problem conclusion

  • Modified the WAS.policy file of the CEI application
    EventService.ear to provide this permission.
    
    The fix for this APAR is currently targeted for inclusion in
    fix packs 7.0.0.39, 8.0.0.11 and 8.5.5.6.  Please refer to the
