APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• SIP ClassNotFoundException serializing JSR-309 object using
  doAsyncTask.
  
  Using doAsyncTask() to run procedure on remote WebSphere
  Application Server. If the remote instance tries to access
  object of type "javax.media.mscontrol.EventType" passed as an
  argument for asynchronous processing, a
  "classNotFoundException" is generated.

  ClassNotFoundException was thrown when implementing
  AsynchronousWork API with array member type.
  

Problem conclusion

• There was problem with the serializing of the AsynchronousWork
  object which cause the ClassNotFoundException when
  de-serializing it. This has been corrected.
  
  The fix for this APAR is currently targeted for inclusion in
  fix pack 8.5.5.6.  Please refer to the Recommended Updates
