Error description
When invoking a certain WebSphere URL via HTTP server and plugin then HTTP server abends in module vsnprintf +x'000027FC' which is at level UI14148. Code is crashing from plugin call to attempt to print the URI. Plugin expects the URI to be held in the hts4_qstring value of the request but it appears to be empty- . QS joblog shows: ---------------- sig_prgchk.. ABEND signal SIGSEGV has been caught for Worker thread. IMW0085E ABEND signal 11 has been caught for thread type 1 . Problem conclusion
Corrected the code to correctly format the strings at the appropriate log level. APAR PI35866 is currently targeted for inclusion in Fix Packs 8.0.0.11 and 8.5.5.6 of WebSphere Application Server. Temporary fix
Use a loglevel other than debug for plugin.
