Local fix
Problem summary
**************************************************************** * USERS AFFECTED: All users of IBM WebSphere Application * * Server Batch Function * **************************************************************** * PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: Four FFDC files are generated when * * running the WSGrid application and * * the IIOP port is not the default port * * of 2804. * **************************************************************** * RECOMMENDATION: * **************************************************************** Users should supply the IIOP port of the Scheduler server if it uses an IIOP port other than the default of 2804.
Problem conclusion
A new parameter (-IIOP <server>:<port>) was added to the WSGrid command line. This allows users who are not on the default IIOP port of 2804 to specify their IIOP port and avoid the 4 FFDC errors. The fix for this APAR is currently targeted for inclusion in fix pack 8.5.5.6.
