APAR status

  • Closed as program error.

Error description

  • JSF 2.0 portlet bridge saves view state in action phase to make
it available in render phase. While restoring view it loads JSF
component classes which can hit performance hence repetitive
loading of JSF component classes should be avoided while
    restoring view.

    ****************************************************************
The JSF 2.0 portlet bridge code needs to be updated to avoid
    reloading of JSF component classes.

Problem conclusion

  • The JSF 2.0 Portlet Bridge was updated to load the JSF
component classes only once and then store it in a map.
