Problem summary
**************************************************************** * USERS AFFECTED: All users of IBM WebSphere Application * * Server Liberty Profile - Liberty * * Administrative Center * **************************************************************** * PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: If the AdminCenter Graphs slow down * * because of system load, the X axis * * labels of some graphs can become * * unreadable. * **************************************************************** * RECOMMENDATION: * **************************************************************** The AdminCenter graphs are set to display X axis labels for every 25 seconds worth of data, and if for any reason the system slows and the time between each datapoint increases, more and more labels get added to the graph and the X axis of the graph can become unreadable.
Problem conclusion
A maximum of 4 X axis labels are displayed in the AdminCenter graphs, and rather than using a hardcoded value to set these label intervals, we now calculate them using the timestamps of the datapoints. The fix for this APAR is currently targeted for inclusion in fix pack 8.5.5.6. Please refer to the Recommended Updates page for delivery information: http://www.ibm.com/support/docview.wss?rs=180&uid=swg27004980
Temporary fix
Refreshing the Browser page will reset the graphs, and the labels should start displaying correctly.
