PI40062: NullPointerException from CommonLifeCycle.getParentBDAContextsService during application

Error description

Customer reported that a particular application does not start
during Server bringup.   Looking more closely this is
associated with the following exception:
NullPointerException in
CommonLifeCycle.getParentBDAContextsService
during application startup

Local fix

Install app from ISC after server bringup is complete.

Problem summary

CommonLifeCycle.getParentBDAContextsSer
vice method during application startup.

Problem conclusion

PI45287 corrected the particular circumstance that led to the
NullPointerException.  This APAR is a subsequent change to
check for null at the specific location where the
NullPointerException occurs.

APAR PI40062 is currently targeted for inclusion in Fix Packs
8.0.0.13, 8.5.5.10 and 9.0.0.1 of WebSphere Application Server.
