  A field annotated with @Produces and containing the the type
  EntityManager produces nulls.
  

Problem conclusion

• A fallback code path was introduced to ensure that Contexts
  and Dependency Injection (CDI) could correctly get resource
  references in this situation.
  
  The fix for this APAR is currently targeted for inclusion in
  fix packs 8.0.0.12 and 8.5.5.8.  Please refer to the
