**************************************************************** * USERS AFFECTED: All users of IBM WebSphere Application * * Server V8.0 * **************************************************************** * PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: ArrayIndexOutOfBoundsException is * * thrown when trying to access fast * * access array * **************************************************************** * RECOMMENDATION: * **************************************************************** The pointers to the preceding and following nodes of an element with Native Data state are lost before linking them together. This results in old siblings still referring to this moved node. This causes corruption and causes the ArrayIndexOutOfBoundsException when trying to access the old parent's fast access array with the new index within new parent.
Problem conclusion
Preceding and following nodes are now linked before pointers to them are lost. This prevented data corruption and the ArrayIndexOutOfBoundsException. The fix for this APAR is currently targeted for inclusion in fix pack 8.0.0.11.
