Error description

• When Batch jobs run with the
  com.ibm.ws.batch.parallel.PERSIST_TOP_LEVEL_JOB_CONTEXT property
  set to true jobs will not restart if they are stopped or cancell
  

Local fix

Problem summary

  When Batch jobs run with the
  com.ibm.ws.batch.parallel.PERSIST_TOP_LEVEL_JOB_CONTEXT
  property set to true jobs will not restart. A
  ClassNotFoundException is printed out in the logs and the job
  stays in the restartable state.
  

Problem conclusion

• A check for catching an IOException or a
  ClassNotFoundException was added.  If this exception is caught
  then a customer class loader is attempted to be loaded
  
  The fix for this APAR is currently targeted for inclusion in
  fix packs 8.5.5.7 and 8.0.0.5.  Please refer to the
  Recommended Updates page for delivery information:
