Error description

• The WSGrid.sh and WSGrid.bat scripts generate two benign
  NullPointerException FFDC entries under the Deployment Manager
  each time a job submission is made.

  The WSGrid script was not marked as a standalone Java client so
  it
  is attempting to access WebSphere Application Server services
  which are not available. This results in two benign
  NullPointerExceptionsin in the Deployment Manager FFDC logs each
  time a Compute Grid batch job is submitted.
  

Problem conclusion

• The WSGrid client has been updated to set the correct JVM
  property to mark it as a standalone Java client.
  
  The fix for this APAR is currently targeted for inclusion in
  fixpack 8.0.0.5 Please refer to the Recommended Updates page
