Error description

  • When using the jpa-2.0 feature, deserializing a ResultList
object may result in the following ClassNotFound exception:
    org.omg.CORBA.MARSHAL: class
    org.apache.openjpa.lib.rop.EagerResultList not found (no
codebase provided): vmcid: 0x0 minor code: 0x0 completed:
    No

The reason this problem occurs is that OpenJPA returns an
implementation class from the getResultList() method and
upon deserialization, that class isn't visible to the app
classloader. In order to fix this issue, we have exposed the
    org.apache.openjpa.lib.rop package.

Problem conclusion

  • The JPA manifest file has been updated to expose the
org.apache.openjpa.lib.rop package which allows users have
    access to the missing class.
