APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• VMM needs handling of LDAP binary attributes so that values
  of
  binary attibutes will returned in readable format.
  
  In Liberty profile, the uniqueId returns like this:
  
  uniqueId=?/?????I???/????

  In the federated repository if the LDAP server is configured and
  tries to get a Binary attribute of the LDAP server, VMM does not
  return it in the proper format.
  

Problem conclusion

• This APAR will fix the wrong behavior and proper parsing will be
  done if the returned attribute is a Binary attribute.
  
  The fix for this APAR is currently targeted for inclusion in fix
  pack 8.5.5.9.  Please refer to the Recommended Updates page for
