    * PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: Invoking the productInfo script with a *
    * valid command but a bad option does not *
    * result in an error. *
    ****************************************************************
    * RECOMMENDATION:                                              *
    ****************************************************************
    The productInfo script has several commands that can be run, for
    example, "productInfo validate". If you run the productInfo
    script with an invalid command, an appropriate error is
    displayed. However if you run the script with a valid command
    but an invalid option, the command will not run and no error
    will be displayed. An example of an invocation with a valid
    command but invalid option is:

    productInfo validate --thisIsABadOption

Problem conclusion

  • Code was changed so that an appropriate error message is
    displayed when the productInfo script is invoked with a valid
    command but invalid option.
