  The ignore case configuration provided in LDAP configuration was
  not in effect. The LDAP registry was not honoring the value of
  the ignoreCase parameter.
  

Problem conclusion

• This APAR fixes the issue of not honoring the boolean value of
  ignoreCase. Login can work with any case when ignoreCase is true
  and login will only work with actual userid when ignoreCase is
  false
  
  This APAR is providing an interim fix for fix pack level 8.5.5.6
  only. This problem has already been fixed via other means in fix
  pack 8.5.5.7 and higher.
