PI56169: WRONG ID LOGGED WHEN STOPPING AN APP SERVER THROUGH THE ADMIN CONSOLE

APAR status

  • Closed as program error.

Error description

  • When user clicks on Servers->All Servers panel in admin
    console
    and then stops any application server with STOP button, the
    userid logged is the fully qualified server name and not the
    user logged in to the admin console.

    When a user clicks on Servers->All Servers panel in the admin
    console and then starts or stops any application server with the
    respective operation button; the user-id associated with the
    logged audit message IDs (ADMN1000I, ADMN1020I) is the fully
    qualified server name and not the currently logged in user.
    

Problem conclusion

  • The correct user is logged during server start and stop when
    performed from the "All Servers" tab in the admin console.
    
    The fix for this APAR is currently targeted for inclusion in fix
    packs 8.5.5.14 and 9.0.0.8.  Please refer to the Recommended
