Error description

The logstashCollector-1.0 feature will report an FFDC with
java.lang.NullPointerException when access log source is
enabled. The exception is typically seen when HTTP requests
without "User-Agent" header are processed by Liberty.

Logstasch colletor feature support access log data as one of the
sources. With the access log source enabled, you will sometimes
see an FFDC with null pointer exception getting generated. The
exception is seen when an HTTP request without a "User-Agent"
header is processed by Liberty. The code assumes that the "User-
Agent" header will be present in all HTTP requests, when this is
not true it throws an exception.

Problem conclusion

The code was modified to handle HTTP requests without "User-
Agent" header.

The fix for this APAR is currently targeted for inclusion in fix
pack 8.5.5.10.  Please refer to the Recommended Updates page for
