APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• From WebSphere Application Server administrative console if you
  select under Applications, Application Types, WebSphere
  enterprise applications, (your webservice application name),
  Manage Modules, (your war name), Web service, client security
  bindings, HTTP SSL configuration ... select radio button for
  Centrally Managed then OK and Save ... when you come back this
  has not been "Saved".

  *                  Server who make changes in the "HTTP SSL    *
  *                  configuration" panel for an enterprise      *
  *                  application.                                *

  * PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: If you changed the SSL configuration    *
  *                      to "Centrally managed" and clicked      *
  *                      Apply or Ok, the changes were not       *
  *                      being saved.                            *
  ****************************************************************
  * RECOMMENDATION:                                              *
  ****************************************************************
  You are unable to save any changes made under the HTTPS
  SSL configuration panel. If you changed your SSL
  configuration from "Specific to this Web service port" to
  "Centrally managed" and clicked Apply/Ok, the changes were NOT
  saved.
  

Problem conclusion

• Provided a fix that allows you to save the changes when SSL
  configuration is set to "Centrally managed".
  
  The fix for this APAR is currently targeted for inclusion in
  fix packs 8.0.0.13 and 8.5.5.10.  Please refer to the
  Recommended Updates page for delivery information:
