APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• Administrative console login page picture is overlapping on
  username and password fields fter upgrading from WAS 8.0.0.11
  to 8.0.0.12. This happens in Internet Explorer 11 where
  compatibility mode option is turned on.
   -
  You may also see the Console Identity overlap the "Websphere
  Sofware" logo. This is not fixed by disabling compatability
  mode.
  

Local fix

• Turn off "compatibility mode" in Internet Explorer 11.
  

Problem summary

  The Administrative Console login logo overlaps the username and
  password fields. This happens in Internet Explorer 11 where
  the compatibility mode option is turned on. The user can still
  login to the console, but the layout of the page is incorrect.
  

Problem conclusion

• A fix has been added to ensure the login logo does not overlap
  regardless of whether the compatibility mode is ON or OFF.
  
  The fix for this APAR is currently targeted for inclusion in
  fix packs 8.5.5.10 and 8.0.0.13.  Please refer to the
  Recommended Updates page for delivery information:
