PI62639: NullPointerException in CDIEJBManagedObjectFactoryImpl.getEjbDes criptor when creating EJB instance to pre-load the bean pool

Error description

When the com.ibm.websphere.ejbcontainer.poolSize JVM
property is used to configure pre-loading of EJB pools when
the bean starts, a NullPointerException may occur in
com.ibm.ws.cdi.impl.managedobject.CDIEJBManagedObjectFactory
Impl.getEjbDescriptor when the bean instances are being
created.  The exception stack would be similar to this:

Problem conclusion

The failure occurs because the EJB context is not available on
the thread that is used to pre-load the bean pool. The EJB
container has been updated to make the EJB context available on
the pre-load bean pool thread.

The fix for this APAR is currently targeted for inclusion in fix
packs 8.5.5.11 and 9.0.0.1 for WebSphere Application Server and
16.0.0.3 for WebSphere Application Server Liberty.
