Error description

Configuring a web application with a security run-as role,
but
with no security constraint results in:

CWWKS9112W: Invalid run-as configuration for security-role
name
ApplicationRoleName in the application ApplicationName.

This problem does not occur on Traditional WebSphere.

*                      value of run-as setting might not be    *
*                      honored.                                *

When SAF authorization is enabled, and the target resource is
not protected, CWWKS9112W: INVALID RUN-AS CONFIGURATION message
might be logged and the value of run-as configuration might not
be honored. The cause of the issue is that SAF authorization
code is not activated if the target resource is not protected.

Problem conclusion

With this fix, the SAF authorization code is always activated no
matter whether the target is protected.

The fix for this APAR is currently targeted for inclusion in fix
pack 16.0.0.3. Please refer to the Recommended Updates page for
