Error description

The CloseReason text string, if longer than 122 bytes may get
truncated incorrectly, therefore yeilding an incorrect
CloseReason text string and/or throwing an FFDC exception

With Double Byte languages, when closing a WebSocket
connection an FFDC exception can occur because the CloseReason
text is more than 123 bytes.  The text may also then be
corrupted.

Problem conclusion

WebSocket CloseReason text was not properly truncated at 123
bytes when dealing with double-byte languages.  This can also
generate an FFDC exception.

The fix for this APAR is currently targeted for inclusion in
fix pack 9.0.0.1 and Liberty 16.0.0.2 Please refer to the

Temporary fix

Users should use short strings, less then 123 bytes, for
CloseReason text in all languages.
