Problem summary

    *                  Management Tool (which runs on              *
    *                  standalone Websphere Customization Tool)    *
    *                  and installs an extension for it.           *
    ****************************************************************
    * PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: Installing an extension bundle (i.e.    *
    *                      Extreme Scale) onto zPMT and the        *
    *                      extension does not work after it        *
    *                      restarts.                               *
    ****************************************************************
    * RECOMMENDATION:                                              *

    Installing an extension bundle (i.e. Extreme Scale) onto zPMT
    and the extension does not work after it restarts. Does not
    work in that the augment buttons does not become active.
    

Problem conclusion

  • Removed the -clean from eclipse.ini which caused some
    important cache information used by the extension to be
    removed upon start up of the application.
    
    The fix for this APAR is currently targeted for inclusion in
    fix pack 9.0.0.1.  Please refer to the Recommended Updates
    page for delivery information:

Temporary fix

  • Remove the -clean from the eclipse.ini of the standalone
    Websphere customization toolbox
