Problem description: All checked exceptions are wrapped in a
WeldException in beans that have both @Stateless annotation
and
CDI-interceptor(s). This causes WeldException to be wrapped
in
EJBException which causes transaction to rollback.

Exceptions were wrapped in the WeldException type which could
prevent features such as JAX-RS exception mapping from working
correctly

Problem conclusion

We modified the code that integrates Websphere Application
Server with Weld so it will unwrap WeldExceptions.

The fix for this APAR is currently targeted for inclusion in fix
pack 9.0.0.2 for WebSphere Application Server and 16.0.0.3 for
Liberty.  Please refer to the Recommended Updates page for
