PI68035: REMOTE MIGRATION CHANGING HOSTNAME VARIABLES OF IPC CONNECTOR AND NODE

Error description

Performing remote migration from WebSphere Application Server
V7 to V8.5.5 is changing hostname variables of deployment
manager's IPC_CONNECTOR_ADDRESS and nodeagent's
NODE_IPV6_MULTICAST_DISCOVERY_ADDRESS, those were changed to
actual host names of the servers.

Before migration:
Dmgr: IPC_CONNECTOR_ADDRESS ---> ${LOCALHOST_NAME}
Nodeagent: NODE_IPV6_MULTICAST_DISCOVERY_ADDRESS ---> ff01::1

After migration:
Dmgr: IPC_CONNECTOR_ADDRESS ---> Actual hostname of the server
Nodeagent: NODE_IPV6_MULTICAST_DISCOVERY_ADDRESS ---> Actual
hostname of the server

Local fix

Manually modify the serverindex.xml file and update the
original values.

Remote migrations are not detecting the use of variables in
the endpoint's host setting and is replacing it with new
target machine's hostname.

Problem conclusion

Fixed the code to see if the hostname uses a variable. We also
check to see if the variable is "localhost" and if so leave it
as is.

The fix for this APAR is currently targeted for inclusion in
fix packs 8.5.5.11 and 9.0.0.2.  Please refer to the
