Error description

Transaction recovery may not recover all resources successfully
or server startup may fail with message WSVR0009E
indicating 'Invalid Xid/recoveryId in transaction log'.

APAR PI18414 fixed an issue during recovery processing of the
transaction service logs so that out of order writes to the
logs were detected and recovered. Processing of such records
misallocates an internal identifier which could cause the same
issue to reoccur on a subsequent recovery.

Problem conclusion

The recovery log service was modified so that the internal
identifier of a recovered out of order record was allocated
correctly.

The fix for this APAR is currently targeted for inclusion in
fix packs 8.0.0.13, 8.5.5.11 and 9.0.0.2.  Please refer to the
