PI69942: JSP property useJDKCompiler does not work in Liberty

Error description

JSP property useJDKCompiler does not work in Liberty;
setting this property to true will only cause the JSP engine
to fail the compilation of JSP files with several
java.lang.ClassNotFoundException.

When the JSP attribute useJDKCompiler is set to true, the
compiler used is not the Java SDK compiler; instead the JSP
container uses the compiler embedded in Liberty.

Problem conclusion

The JSP container was modified to compile using the Java SDK
compiler when the JSP attribute useJDKCompiler is set to true.

The fix for this APAR is currently targeted for inclusion in fix
pack 16.0.0.4.  Please refer to the Recommended Updates page for
