PI70441: FlowBuilderFactoryBean Concurrency Issue

Error description

A concurrency issue exists in
org.apache.myfaces.flow.cdi.FlowBuilderFactoryBean.getFlowDe
finitions(). If multiple applications (with programmatic
flows) are starting up simultaneously, it's possible that
the two responsible threads can concurrently modify the
shared object FlowBuilderFactoryBean.flowDefinitions. That
can result in the flowDefinitions for one of the
applications not being processed.
Synchronizing the getFlowDefinitions() method is the
simplest fix for this issue.

If multiple applications deployed on a given server define and
utilize programmatic flows, it is possible that the flow
definitions for one or more of the applications will not be
processed.  If that happens, the application will not be able to
find the affected flow.

Problem conclusion

The JSF MyFaces 2.2 code was updated to fix the concurrency
issue when using Faces Flows.

The fix for this APAR is currently targeted for inclusion in fix
pack 16.0.0.4.  Please refer to the Recommended Updates page for
