PI72191: CONTROL REGION ABEND AFTER BBOT0004E: RRS SERVICE ATRAFGT FAILED WITH RETURN CODE 370

Error description

A zWAS control process terminates following a return code of
0x370 from an RRS Forget_Agent_UR_Interest call (ATRAFGT,
ATR4AFGT).

The 0x370 return code (ATR_URI_TOKEN_INV) indicates that the
specified UR_interest token does not represent a valid
expression of interest.

This condition can occur after RRS has terminated and
restarted.

The fix for APAR PI23532 can result in the control region
issuing an ATRAFGT to RRS when the servant region has already
performed the same task resulting in return code x370
(ATR_URI_TOKEN_INV).  When the transaction service detected
this return code it terminated the control region when it
should have tolerated the condition.

Problem conclusion

The transaction service was modified so that in the specific
case when the need to issue an ATRAFGT from the control
region is dependant on the state of the servant region a
return code x370 return code from ATRAFGT is tolerated.

APAR PI72191 is currently targeted for inclusion in Fix Packs
Fix Packs 8.0.0.14, 8.5.5.12 and 9.0.0.4 of  WebSphere
Application Server.
