Problem conclusion
The Microsoft Windows registry key is fixed such that the key will be "HKEY_CURRENT_USER/Software/IBM/WebSphere Application Server/9.0.0.0" with a "MajorVersion" of 9. The fix for this APAR is currently targeted for inclusion in fix pack 9.0.0.3.
