  HKEY_CURRENT_USER/Software/IBM/WebSphere Application
  Server/8.5.0.0 with a MajorVersion of 8 instead of
  HKEY_CURRENT_USER/Software/IBM/WebSphere Application
  Server/9.0.0.0 with a MajorVersion of 9.

  WebSphere Application Server v9.0 creates a Microsoft Windows
  registry key in "HKEY_CURRENT_USER/Software/IBM/WebSphere
  Application Server/8.5.0.0". This is replacing registry
  information for a v8.5 install with v9.0 information.
  

Problem conclusion

• The Microsoft Windows registry key is fixed such that the key
  will be "HKEY_CURRENT_USER/Software/IBM/WebSphere Application
  Server/9.0.0.0" with a "MajorVersion" of 9.
  
  The fix for this APAR is currently targeted for inclusion in
  fix pack 9.0.0.3.  Please refer to the Recommended Updates
