  According to the Servlet 3.1 specification the response is
  committed and closed on return from a forward dispatch unless
  the request is in asynchronous mode. Liberty observes this for
  asynchronous dispatch requests but not for asynchronous start
  requests. This can result in the content of a response being
  truncated if the response is committed and closed while the
  started runnable is still producing output.
  

Problem conclusion

• The servlet 3.1 feature was updated to not commit and close the
  response on return form a forward dispatch if the request is in
  asynchronous mode. A request is in asynchronous mode, for
  example, from the time ServletRequest.startAsync() is called
  until AsyncContext.complete() is called.
  
  
  The fix for this APAR is currently targeted for inclusion in fix
  pack 17.0.0.1.  Please refer to the Recommended Updates page for
