Error description

A condition within the batch framework is causing a non-fatal
stack trace to be produced on multiple occasions which is
consuming a high amount of log space.

You will see stack traces like this especially in the
controller SYSOUT (on z/OS) and in the SystemOut.log (on
Distributed operating systems):

Problem conclusion

This particular null pointer condition was converted to a
trace record, so it only appears with appropriately detailed
trace enabled and is targeted to IBM support rather than the
external user.

The fix for this APAR is currently targeted for inclusion in
fix packs 8.5.5.12 and 9.0.0.3.  Please refer to the
