This issue is reported on Red Hat Linux 7 when Application Server is configured to use local OS registry. The issue does not happen on Red Hat Linux 6.
Problem conclusion
WebSphere Application Server's native Linux code has been updated to work with the gcc runtime on Red Hat 7. The updated code works on Red Hat 6 as well. The fix for this APAR is currently targeted for inclusion in fix packs 8.5.5.12 and 9.0.0.4.
