APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• Plugin is crashing because it can not open the logfile defined
  in its configuration and trying to write to the IHS error log
  but the variable has never been assigned to the IHS error log.

  Intelligent Management can not be dynamically enabled and
  disabled (it requires a complete web server restart). The
  check to ensure it is not dynamically updated did not check
  for a null pointer and could crash.
  

Problem conclusion

• Checks were added to ensure an invalid pointer is not
  referenced.
  
  The fix for this APAR is currently targeted for inclusion in
  fix pack 8.5.5.12 and 9.0.0.5. Please refer to the Recommended
