    ****************************************************************
After changing the configuration of a Liberty Server the plugin-
cfg.xml file in the logs/state directory is removed and not
regenerated to reflect the configuration update.

Problem conclusion

  • The problem happens when the configuration update is made to a
Liberty server at the same time as a plugin-cfg.xml file is
being generated for another reason, such as server start or a
previous configuration update. In this scenario two separate
threads can be generating the plugin-cfg.xml file at the same
time and this can result in the file being removed and not
    regenerated.

The fix for this APAR is currently targeted for inclusion in fix
pack 17.0.0.2. Please refer to the Recommended Updates page for
