Error description

• The current 75M default shared class cache size is not optimal
  for WAS z/OS Servants.  An increase to 125M has been shown to
  decrease startup times.

  Prior to version 9.0.0.5 each Java Virtual Machine (JVM)
  contained by the control, control region adjunct, and servant
  regions composing a server instance will launch with
  default option -Xscmx=75M, the maximum size of the shared
  class cache, whenever the option is not otherwise declared in
  the server configuration. Increasing the value to 125M for both
  the servant and adjunct JVMs will reduce the elapsed time to
  start a server by up to 4%.
  

Problem conclusion

• Apply APAR PI82237 to change the default maximum size of the
  shared class cache to 125M (-Xscmx125M) for the servant and
  adjunct JVMs of a server instance.
  
  The fix for this APAR is currently targeted for inclusion in
  fix pack 9.0.0.5.  Please refer to the Recommended Updates
